Masjid Refurb Appeal - Phase 2 (Revised Plan)
We’re proud to share an incredible milestone — last Ramadan, our community raised £235,000 to begin the much-needed renovation of our mosque. That support laid a strong foundation, but the project has since grown into a more ambitious plan that will better serve everyone who uses the space.
The upgraded design includes:
- A step-free prayer hall for full accessibility
- Fully equipped kitchen for community meals and events
- Improved safety with a new disabled toilet and widened fire exit
- A new foyer and redesigned Mimbar
Rising costs and a higher standard of design have increased the total project cost to £434,274, leaving a shortfall of around £250,000, including a contingency fund to ensure smooth completion.
This project isn’t just about construction — it’s about creating a safe, inclusive, and vibrant community hub for generations to come. Every contribution helps bring this shared vision to life.
